Wall Street Jitters

What's up with all of the Wall Street professional investors? They move around their investments like those schools of little fish that seem to move on a dime, all at the same time. I'm a small amateur investor. I recently got lucky with my timing on an oil driller. This company is a solid stock investment, but it has recently taken some wild swings along with the price of oil. What I don't get is ...if everyone is now talking about more domestic drilling, and this is a solid domestic drilling company that is undervalued, how can these professional investors miss the obvious? Oil prices are dropping primarily because of renewed talk of drilling - That should be good for oil drillers....So why do they sweep everything related to energy, including oil drilling companies out the door when oil prices drop? I suspect that there are only a few professional investors that lead..........the other 98% or so follow frantically. I'm confident that they will eventually come around to do the right thing, so I plan to hold steady with my investment. Our oil problems will not go away anytime soon and drilling will continue to increase, even if limited by the Democrats in this country.
